Constantius II, 337-361. Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.52 g, 5 h), Antiochia, 337-347. CONSTAN-TIVS AVG Rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM / SMANS• Victory seated right on cuirass and shield, inscribing VOT / XXX in two lines on shield set on her left knee and supported by small cupid on the right, standing left. Depeyrot -, cf. 4/9 (pearl-diademed bust). Cf. Gorny & Mosch 121 (2003), 507 (same obverse die, but differing officina letter). RIC -, cf. 18 (pearl-diademed bust). Apparently unpublished with this bust type. Minor marks and faint scratches, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
